I have also found this to be an issue when I am using Google Chrome, however if I switch back to Firefox my picture works just fine.
I guess you will have to take the lesser of two evils
Either Natural spinning speed and more fluid graphics (chrome) or your picture matched up with your score (firefox)
Choose your poison.

This is a known issue after their latest update. It will get fixed eventually. It is not browser specific you are just riding on cache. If you clear your cache the issue will come back. It will get resolved eventually
